NEW JERSEY: A man’s request for a “magnet powered daily driver” has now racked up over 16,000 likes, 2,000 replies, and at least one corporate admission of defeat, proving that the internet will forever choose a bad idea with confidence over a good idea with a footnote.
The Design
The blueprint, hand-drawn with the precision of someone who has never been told no, features a red pickup truck, a long mechanical boom arm bolted to the bed, and a giant horseshoe magnet dangling off the end, dangling directly in front of a gray slab labeled, helpfully, “Metal.”
