“You Probably Saved His Life”
The EMTs moved fast.
One look was enough to know how close it had been.
The police officer looked at my son — the hair, the piercings, the jacketless kid shaking in the cold.
Then his expression changed.
“You probably saved that baby’s life,” he said.
