We Searched Together… Until One Document Changed Everything Again
Over the next weeks, Hannah became part of my life as naturally as breathing.
We had lunch twice a week.
She met Biscuit — who loved her immediately, like dogs always know.
We searched together at the library, pulling records and old newspapers.
We called agencies.
We submitted DNA tests again.
We tried everything.
And then, one gray afternoon in November, Hannah called me.
Her voice shook so badly I could barely understand her.
“Emma… I need you to come over. I found something.”
