The balloons that said what I wouldn’t say quietly
Phones went up. People jostled for angles.
Someone’s kid screamed, “PINK! I want a girl cousin!”
Blake slid his arm around my waist, beaming for the cameras.
Harper stood a little too close to his side, smiling like she owned him.
“Ready, sweetheart?” Blake murmured.
I looked up at him and smiled.
“More than you know.”
The countdown started.
“Three!”
