My phone exploded with calls.
Media. CEOs. Governments.
“Those business trips…” Mom whispered.
“I was acquiring companies bigger than Richard’s,” I replied. “Sometimes two at a time.”
“The prime minister of Singapore is holding,” Marcus added.
Dad stared. “The prime minister?”
“We’re building their national tech infrastructure,” I said, grabbing my coat.
Marcus leaned in. “Also the Saudi contract closed. And the EU deal.”
I checked my watch.
“Marcus, bring the car. We need to get to the office.”
