The Final Twist
When guilt didn’t work, they tried fear.
A police report showed up: I was accused of stealing jewelry and a luxury watch.
My knees nearly gave out — until my attorney walked in with receipts.
There it was:
A marketplace listing tied to his son’s account, selling the “stolen” watch days earlier.
The accusation collapsed instantly.
And in the process, they created more evidence… against themselves.
At mediation, my husband tried one last time to perform victimhood.
“I gave you a roof,” he said.
I didn’t raise my voice.
